When ever I post up something that focuses on my skin, I find myself getting tons of skincare routine questions, so I thought it would be cool to make a post about it! One of my biggest pet peeve's on how people view make up is when they think it's purpose is to cover up bad skin, when in reality it's the exact opposite. Great make up starts with great skin! When you take care of your skin, you allow the make up to simply glide on and enhance your skin/natural features beautifully and easily!
I exfoliate my face twice a week and clean my face with a gentle cleanser twice a day (when I haven't exfoliated). Immediately after exfoliating or cleansing, I gently apply eye cream to the lids and below my eye with a taping motion using my index finger, and last but not least, I put on a good amount of moisturizer all over, even on to my neck. Above, each product is linked to the page where you can purchase each one. But please be aware that everyones skin type is different and everyone reacts to certain products differently. All of these products are great for all skin types except for the moisturizer. If you have oily skin, that moisturizer might be over hydrating and make your skin more oily! Finding your perfect routine does take time, and one of the most helpful things to do is to stop by any Sephora and ask for samples...or just take advantage of their awesome return policy!
